Career and collaboration with Dr. Jerry Wong
He was born and raised in Harare, Zimbabwe and then moved to South Africa, Cape Town where he graduated with honors in Medicine in 1984.
He worked as a general practitioner for more than 6 years and then, in 1993, he decided to specialize in Canada in some transplantation centers in order to acquire a know-how in the surgical field of baldness.
After learning from great specialists such as Dr. Limmer and Dr. Rassman, in 1997 he began working with his colleague Dr. Jerry Wong with whom he finally opened his own clinic.
We owe to Dr. Hasson the invention of the Hasson Cutter, one of his creations that, besides being minimally invasive for post-operative signs, is also capable of cutting with extreme precision. Thanks to this instrument, in 2002, together with Dr. Wong, he introduced the lateral slit technique: with the use of specific blades, the size of the incision corresponds exactly to that of the unit of the follicle to be grafted and thus adapts perfectly to the scalp.
