It is possible to compensate for these deficiencies or alterations by taking orally or topically some active agents particularly effective for hair care. For example:

Zinc

Essential for activating the growth factors of matrix germ cells. Inhibits 5 alpha-reductase, possesses anti-inflammatory and antioxidant action, normalizes sebaceous secretion. Zinc promotes thick hair, but it is also a useful micronutrient for boosting the immune system, improving organ and tissue health, and regulating hormone production in men and women.

Pyridoxine

Vitamin B6 enhances the inhibitory action of zinc on 5-alpha reductase, contributes to keratin formation and maintains healthy hair.

Panthenol

The pro-vitamin B5, has a strong moisturizing and emollient action, prevents dehydration and fragility of the hair increasing its resistance to attack by external agents. It also promotes the metabolism of fatty acids, proteins and sugars and allows constant cell renewal.

Amino Acids

Arginine, Ornithine and Cysteine provide nourishment to the dermis and follicle. They are indispensable for hair restructuring, improving blood supply to the hair root and promoting hair growth.

Biotin

The biotin is one of the key nutrients for healthy hair, nails and skin.

Regarding the nails: it strengthens them by increasing the thickness, texture and trophism.

Regarding the skin: increases skin hydration, counteracts skin irritations and improves various forms of dermatitis and even the milk crust in the newborn.

The biotin is effective in alopecia to strengthen the hair having an important role in the structure of keratin.

It also improves imperfections related to oily hair, dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis, being a sebum-regulating substance.

Hyaluronic Acid at different molecular weights:

Low molecular weight hyaluronic acid with silanetriol has an anti-inflammatory and supportive action on the tissues that anchor the hair bulb.

High molecular weight hyaluronic acid forms a protective film regulating hydration and increasing the volume of the hair.

Growth factors EGF, IGF-1, bFGF, Thymosin B4, VEGF, IGRANTINE F1 (topical use only)

This selected pool of biomimetic peptides nano-encapsulated promotes capillarization and consequently oxygenation and nourishment to the bulb, stimulating the prolongation of the anagen phase.

TIMOSINE B4 stimulates cell proliferation and differentiation at the level of the bulb in the anagen phase.

It also regulates the levels of VEGF that stimulates angiogenesis promoting the trophism of the hair bulb. IGF supports hair growth by providing oxygen and nutrients to the follicle.IGRANTINE F1: stimulates IGF production by increasing the speed of growth, density and diameter of the hair.

Trifolium Pratense Sprout Extract and Vigna Radiata Sprout Extract (for topical use only)

The extracts of these sprouts act on the cell communication system of the hair follicle andimprove the vitality of the dermal papilla..

In vitro studies have shown that they are able to stimulate several signal molecules required to promote a healthy follicle cycle and modify gene expression of the factors IGF-1, BMP-4, SMC3 and PDGF-A.

These factors stimulate the maturation of the dermal papilla and improve cellular communication between the dermal papilla and other parts of the hair follicle, which is absolutely necessary for hair growth. The application of these extracts goes to reactivate the diminished vitality of follicles especially those sensitive to the toxic effect of DHT.

Annur complex

It is a dry extract of Mela Annurca (PGI), characterized by a high concentration of oligomeric procyanidins and, specifically, procyanidin B2.
